Dr. Jeffrey Moss - DVM
Owner of Temecula Creek Veterinary |
Dr. Jeffrey Moss graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 after completing his undergraduate studies in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona. It was when he received his additional training in equine dentistry and joint injection techniques, that he found a passion for performance horse medicine. Over the last decade, Dr. Moss' expertise in lameness exams and joint injections has made him highly sought after in Southern California, by professional riders and horse trainers alike. As the founder and owner of Temecula Creek Veterinary, Dr. Moss shares his knowledge and experience whenever possible with staff members and clients. He also enjoys giving back to the community by participating in many guest lectures at 4-H and FFA clubs, equestrian riding clubs, and local schools. Dr. Moss is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
"I always wanted to be a veterinarian". His love of animals was evident from an early age as he worked alongside his father, an FFA advisor at San Pasqual High School in Escondido. He continues to dedicate his life to animals. He believes that through volunteerism and education, people will learn better animal husbandry practices and in turn improve the lives of their animals. Dr. Moss resides in Temecula with his wife Stephanie and their three children, Emily, Steven and Laci. In his free time he loves to go fishing with his son, waterskiing, and watching his kids play sports and many other outdoor/water activities. |
Michaela
Director of First Impressions (Office Manager) |
Growing up in Woodcrest, CA (when there was only orange groves and wide open spaces), Shannon found her love for animals. Purchasing her first horse with her older sister at age 11, she knew she could never be without a horse again. In high school, Shannon participated in FFA, raising market hogs and lambs. She also rode on the high school’s equestrian team and performed at local rodeos and parades. She continued her agriculture education at Mt San Antonio College. Her first job in the veterinary field was in 1997 at a local Small Animal practice. After learning the ends and outs of operations, she became a Practice Manager at their Huntington Beach location. Shannon most recently worked with an Equine & Large Animal practice in Kansas, prior to returning to California. She enjoys all aspects of the veterinary practice environment, from farm calls to customer service and everything in between. Shannon and her husband Ted live in Anza with their 4 children; Tyler, Clayton, Delaney, and Bradie. They all enjoy spending time outdoors riding horses & dirt bikes, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with family. They have plenty to keep themselves busy with 4 horses, 1 dog, 1 cat, 9 chickens, and a fish.
